Michael graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Marketing. He got his first taste of the landscape industry in high school while working for the local park district. After college, He accepted a position with a commercial landscape company where he really started to learn the  industry and gain landscape management knowledge.

Michael has turned his experience into an Account Manager position with Semmer Landscape as well as being part of the marketing team.

When he is not working, he enjoys scuba diving and visiting Chicago’s many parks with his Golden Retriever Archie.
