Andy joined Semmer Landscape in December 2023 as Chief Financial Officer.  He brings 30 plus years of experience to the role having worked in a variety of industries, and his most recent position was as the CFO of a large privately held landscape company. A majority of his career was spent in the wireless industry during the hyper-growth years from 1994 to 2010. During that time, he held a variety of roles including Manager of Analysis, Director of Operations Analysis, Strategic Programs Director, and he served as the Regional Vice President of finance for a startup wireless company that was ultimately sold to T-Mobile. Andy also spent seven years at Sears Holdings Corporation as a Regional Finance Director and Senior Director of Strategy & Planning for Kmart Marketing. His experience also includes running his own CFO Services firm working with clients in consulting, marketing, information technology, and fast service restaurants.

Andy has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Public Accountant (Registered in Illinois). Away from work Andy enjoys golf, still plays competitive ice hockey, and is an assistant coach for his son’s hockey team. His greatest joy is spending time with his family – wife Elizabeth, daughter Emma, and his son Nick. The family resides in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
